Return Policy Guidelines
To qualify for a return, please keep the following points in mind:
- The item must be in new and unused condition, with all original packaging.
- Signs of wear, such as scratches, dirty tires, or damage to the frame, may affect the eligibility for a return.
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
- Please make sure to return the item within 30 days (specific return durations may apply for certain products).
Unfortunately, certain fees, such as delivery service fees or custom order cancelation fees, are non-refundable.
To initiate a return, you need a return authorization number. To obtain one, simply contact our customer service team at 1-800-320-7140 (Monday – Friday, 9am to 5pm EST) or email us at [email protected]. Please note that returns should not be sent to our corporate address.
Restocking Fees for Wheelchair Travel Bags
We want to be transparent with you regarding restocking fees. Please be aware that a 10% to 30% restocking fee applies to the following items:
- Transport wheelchairs
- Standard / Lightweight / Heavy-Duty manual wheelchairs
- Recliner wheelchairs
- Power wheelchairs
- Scooters
- Walkers & Rollators
- Wheelchair accessories (bags, ramps & attachments)
- Volume sales
- Handicare patient lifts
- Lift chairs
- Patient lifts
- Geri chairs (Winco Geri chairs are non-returnable)
- Karman products
- Invacare products
- Nuprodx products
- Aqua Creek products
- Vehicle lifts
- Hoyer pool lifts and patient lifts
Non-Returnable Products
Certain products are custom-made and, therefore, non-returnable. These include:
- Built to order items / Custom wheelchairs
- Ridged ultralightweight wheelchairs
- Invacare 9000 series reclining wheelchairs
- Hospital beds
- Sports wheelchairs
- All Parts
- Adaptive Strollers
- Harmar Products
- Winco Geri chairs
- Custom-built lift chairs (with various options)
- Open-Box Items
- Nutritionals
- Wound care
- Wheelchair scales
Additionally, for hygienic reasons, the following products are non-returnable:
- Bathroom Safety products
- Slings
- Incontinence products
- BestCare patient lifts
- Mattresses
- Seat cushions and Back cushions
Open Box Specials
Our Open Box Specials provide great value for new products that were ordered incorrectly or may have slight imperfections. Please note that these items are non-returnable and do not include in-home service.
Refused Deliveries/Packages
If a package is refused at the point of delivery, the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs.
Shipping Policy & White Glove Delivery Service
We offer various shipping methods, including Standard Ground, Ship to Store, Expedited Second Day, and Expedited Next Day. Please note that additional charges may apply for expedited shipping.
Certain items are not eligible for expedited shipping, such as oversized items, products containing hazardous materials, specialty items, items shipping with freight, or those requiring White Glove Delivery Service.
Please be aware that warehouse processing times apply to each product and cannot be shortened. Expedited shipping timelines are subject to the shipping carrier’s responsibility.
If you opt for White Glove Delivery Service, please note that it may add an additional ten business days to the delivery time. Once the order ships, this service cannot be canceled. However, returns can be arranged according to our return policy requirements, and the White Glove Delivery Service fee is nonrefundable.
