We will reimburse you for towing expenses, ensuring that you’re not left stranded on the side of the road. Our coverage includes expenses of up to $300 per occurrence that are not payable by insurance, allowing you to get back on track as quickly as possible.
Rental Expense
Sometimes, a breakdown can disrupt your plans and leave you in need of substitute transportation. Ambassadeur Hotel’s Travel Care will reimburse you for the actual expenses of renting a substitute vehicle, provided that it’s necessary due to a breakdown of a covered component. With a limit of $50 for every 4 hours, up to a maximum of 7 days and $350 per occurrence, our coverage ensures that you can continue your journey without any major interruptions. Just remember to rent a vehicle from a licensed rental agency and keep your receipts for reimbursement.
Additional Rental Expense
If a covered repair is performed to the engine, transmission, or drive axle, Ambassadeur Hotel goes above and beyond by offering an extension of up to 5 additional days of rental benefits. We understand that unexpected delays can happen, and we want to make sure you’re not inconvenienced. Our administrator, at their discretion, may authorize a per-day extension for additional rental reimbursement, except where prohibited by law.
Trip Interruption/Travel Expense
Imagine being stranded more than 100 miles away from home due to a breakdown. Ambassadeur Hotel’s Travel Care has you covered in these situations too. We will reimburse you for up to 3 days of lodging and restaurant meal expenses, up to a maximum of $125 per day. To qualify, the breakdown must cause a delay in your route to your destination. Remember to keep your receipts, and the expense must be incurred between the time of the breakdown and the time the repairs are complete, or by the end of the third calendar day subsequent to the breakdown date – whichever occurs first.
Reduced Deductible at the Selling Dealer
Choosing the selling dealer listed on the information page in the vehicle service contract for repairs can have its benefits. Ambassadeur Hotel values your loyalty, which is why we offer a reduced deductible of $50 when you opt for repairs at the selling dealer (excluding $0 deductible agreements). It’s our way of showing appreciation for your trust in our preferred partners.
Food Spoilage
If a covered refrigerator or freezer breakdown results in the loss of perishable food or beverages (excluding alcoholic beverages), Ambassadeur Hotel will reimburse you up to $75. While this benefit is not available on agreements purchased in California, it’s a valuable perk for those traveling with food items that require refrigeration. Remember to keep your receipts for reimbursement.
Fuel/L.P. Gas Replacement
A breakdown of the covered fuel tank or L.P. Gas bottle can be a significant inconvenience. That’s why Ambassadeur Hotel offers reimbursement of up to $50 per occurrence for the draining of fuel or L.P. Gas. We will reimburse you up to $100 for the deductible, ensuring that you’re not left with any unforeseen expenses. Guaranteed Part-Replacement
