Return Policy Made Easy
At Ambassadeur Hotel, we understand that sometimes things don’t work out as planned. If, for any reason, you wish to send a product back to us, you may return most unused items for a refund or exchange, minus shipping, within 90 days from the date of purchase. That’s peace of mind you can count on!

We want to make sure all your questions are answered, and we’ll provide you with a return authorization in most cases. You can trust us to keep an eye out for your return every step of the way.
Web Orders Returned in Store
If you prefer to return a web order in-store, we’ve got you covered there too. Just bring the item in its original packaging, along with the invoice, to any Ambassadeur Hotel retail location, and we’ll handle the rest. Please note that shipping charges are non-refundable, and refunds will be issued to the original form of payment, subject to certain exclusions.
For retail purchases, returning your item is a breeze. Just remember to keep your receipt handy. If you’re returning an unused and unopened item with a receipt, you’ll receive a full refund or exchange. In the case of gift receipts, we’ll provide you with a store credit for the amount of the item at the time of purchase. We aim to make the process as smooth as possible for you.
Retail Purchases Without a Receipt
Misplaced your receipt? Don’t worry. We understand that these things happen. If you’re returning a retail purchase without a receipt, no problem. We’ll issue a store merchandise credit at the lowest price within the last 90 days. To ensure a smooth transaction, please bring a valid state-issued driver’s license or state ID card as proof of ID. While we reserve the right to limit or refuse returns without a receipt, we’ll do our best to assist you.
Good Sam Members
As a special perk for our Good Sam Members, we offer an extended return policy. If you’ve maintained a continuous active membership status, you may return any unused and unopened product purchased on Feb. 9, 2018, or later at any time. We value your loyalty, and we’re here to make sure you’re completely satisfied with your purchase.
Good Sam Protection Plans
For those who have purchased a Good Sam Protection Plan, returning your plan is a breeze. Simply bring your plan to the store for processing, or give us a call at 1-888-626-7576, and we’ll take care of the rest. Just keep in mind that purchases paid for with a personal check are subject to a 14-day hold period before they are eligible for return.
Exceptions & Exclusions
While we strive to provide the best return experience possible, there are a few exceptions and exclusions to keep in mind:
Non-returnable items include outboard motors, trolling motors, EPIRBs, boats, SPOT, life rafts, PLBs, Class B AIS, items with expiration dates, custom made/cut or special-order items, rigging, generators, electronic charts, mattresses, flares, hazardous items, licenses, and gift cards. If any of these items prove defective, we recommend contacting the manufacturer directly for assistance.
Certain items, such as electronics, skateboards, bikes, software, bedding, canoes, tents, drones, and kayaks, can be returned within 30 days if unopened and unused. After 30 days, any defective product returns or exchanges must be handled directly with the manufacturer.
Clearance and Outlet items are sold as is and cannot be returned at any time. Once an item is installed, we cannot accept returns or exchanges. If the product becomes defective, please contact the manufacturer directly for assistance.
Finally, please note that for items purchased using a promotional discount, the value of the discount, free product, or gift card will be prorated and deducted from any reimbursement for returned items. Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash or applied to previous purchases, and items received as part of a free gift promotion can only be exchanged for a direct replacement if damaged or defective.
