Being in Mexico, we couldn’t miss the chance to try authentic Mexican cuisine at El Maguey. This restaurant boasted the freshest ingredients and the highest-quality food, thanks to their brand new commercial freezer installation. We were joined by a couple on their honeymoon, and together we savored the delicious flavors of Mexico. From mouthwatering appetizers to refreshing margaritas, El Maguey left us craving more.
Le Maison de Michelle
As recommended by the Ambassadeur Hotel Cancun staff, we made a reservation at Le Maison de Michelle. This elegant restaurant treated us to a gourmet menu featuring French specialties like magret of duck in raspberry sauce, beef stew “bourguignon,” and escargots with wild mushrooms and bacon. The romantic ambiance, enhanced by soft lighting, transported us to the streets of Paris. Though it was difficult to capture perfect pictures due to the low lighting, the food was undeniably delicious.

Inspired by flavors from around the world, this gallery-style restaurant offers an interactive experience with eleven open kitchen stations. From Japanese and Mexican dishes to seafood, vegetarian options, and delectable desserts, the variety is simply astounding. Don’t forget to treat yourself to their delectable soft-serve ice cream!
In-Room Gourmet Dinner
For a truly intimate dining experience, guests staying in a Sunset Suite or Ocean Suite can enjoy an In-Room Gourmet Dinner. We decided to have ours on the last night of our stay, and it was nothing short of amazing. Our server set up a table on our balcony, bringing out appetizers and drinks, followed by the main course and dessert. The attentive service and delectable meal made it a night to remember.
