Easy Payments and Cancellation Policy
At Ambassadeur Hotel, we strive to make your vacation planning hassle-free. To secure your reservation, we only require a 50% deposit at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due 29 days prior to your vacation date. In case of any changes, cancellations made 30 days before your scheduled arrival will receive a 100% refund. For cancellations made with a 15-day notice, a 50% refund will be issued. Please note that last-minute cancellations will result in the forfeiture of the full advance payment. However, if we are able to secure a last-minute reservation, we will refund the corresponding amount. Kindly understand that early departures do not warrant any refunds. We aim to provide flexibility while maintaining fair policies.
Pet-Friendly Accommodations
We understand that pets are a part of your family, which is why we welcome well-behaved dogs at our cabins. Prior approval is required, and a one-time pet fee of $75 applies. To ensure a pleasant stay for everyone, all pets must be groomed and treated with a flea and tick repellent before arrival. We kindly request that you clean up after your pets on the property, as we reside in bear country. For the safety of your pets and other guests, we require that dogs be kept on a leash and not allowed on the furniture. Please be aware that any damage caused by unattended pets will be the responsibility of the pet owners, and a charge of $100 will be deducted from the security deposit if pets are brought onto the property without approval. Your pet’s well-being is important to us, and we assume no responsibility for any illness or injury that may occur during their stay.
Stay Connected with Wi-Fi
To keep you connected during your stay, we provide Wi-Fi internet access. Please note that the Smoky Mountains have limited data availability, and we operate on a monthly allowance. While you can check and send emails or make Wi-Fi calls, streaming videos is not permitted to ensure fair usage for all guests. If you or someone in your party wishes to access the internet, you can purchase data for a flat rate of $12.00 per day. This amount will be deducted from your security deposit. We want to ensure that everyone has a chance to enjoy the internet during their stay.
Protecting Our Environment and Infrastructure
To protect our septic system and plumbing, we kindly ask guests to be mindful of what is flushed down the toilet. Only toilet paper should be disposed of in this manner. Foreign items such as feminine products, baby wipes, toys, contraceptives, and others can cause blockages. Additionally, our garbage disposal and septic system can handle only a limited amount of food waste. Please refrain from disposing of spaghetti noodles in the disposal as they can also clog the system. By adhering to these guidelines, you help us maintain a smooth and trouble-free experience for all visitors.

At Ambassadeur Hotel, we strive to offer exceptional service, and we want every guest to have an unforgettable experience. Please take note of the following:
- Rate changes may apply until your reservation is secured with a deposit.
- We kindly request that you do not feed the bears to ensure their safety and yours.
- Our hot tub facilities provide relaxation but come with certain health risks. Guests use them at their own risk. Our dedicated housekeepers drain, sanitize, and refill the hot tub before your arrival, which may cause a delay in reaching the desired temperature. To prevent any additional fees, please refrain from sitting on the hot tub cover and using bubble bath.
- We provide gas grills for guests to enjoy outdoor cooking. After use, please remember to turn off the gas at the tank, clean the grill, and cover it.
Safety and Accountability
The signee of this document must be 25 years of age or older. The maximum number of overnight guests allowed is 14. We kindly ask that you respect our policy of no wild parties to ensure a peaceful environment for all guests. Any reservation obtained under false pretenses will result in the forfeiture of the advance payment and deposit, leading to the cancellation of the reservation. While accidents and unexpected events can occur, Ambassadeur Hotel cannot be held responsible for any accidents, injuries, or illness that may occur during your stay. Additionally, we are not responsible for any lost valuables or personal belongings. However, if we find any items left behind, we will gladly ship them to you. By accepting our terms and conditions, all guests understand and assume any risks associated with using the premises.
