Day 3: Caesarea, Haifa, Acre, and Rosh Hanikra

Embark on a journey to explore Jewish heritage sites starting with a scenic drive along the coastal plains to Caesarea. This ancient port city, once the capital of Judea under Roman rule, was built by Herod the Great. Marvel at the archaeological ruins, including the aqueduct, amphitheater, and Crusader excavations. Continue to Haifa for a breathtaking view from Mount Carmel. We’ll then proceed to Acre, where you can walk along the old harbor and explore the local market. Day 4: Safed, Gadot, Banias, and Tel Hai

Visit the Joseph Caro synagogue and the Ha’Ari synagogue, two of the most important synagogues in the city. Take a stroll around the Artists’ quarter, known for its vibrant artistic atmosphere. Next, enjoy a Jeep tour at the foot of the Golan Heights, followed by a visit to Gadot overlook, where you can appreciate the memorial site for the fallen soldiers of the Golan. Continue to the Banias springs and then see Tel Hai, where you’ll learn about the heroic battle of Josef Trumpeldor and his comrades in 1920. Day 5: Beit Shean, Beit Alpha, Gan Hashlosha, and Jerusalem

Today, we drive to Tiberias and visit the Tomb of Maimonides, a significant Jewish pilgrimage site honoring the famous Jewish philosopher. Our journey continues to Beit Shean, the largest archaeological park in Israel, where you can explore the impressive ruins from the Roman and Byzantine periods. We’ll then stop at Beit Alpha to admire the beautiful mosaic floors of a synagogue from the Byzantine era. Next, we visit Gan Hashlosha (Sachne), where you can relax and enjoy the water springs located at the foot of the Gilboa Mountain, known for its biblical significance. Afterward, we travel via the Jordan Valley to Jerusalem, making a stop at Mount Scopus to receive a blessing as you enter the Golden City of Jerusalem. Overnight in Jerusalem, including a full buffet breakfast.

Don’t miss the chance to visit the Davidson Center and explore the local Arab bazaar to sharpen your negotiating skills. Our Jerusalem tour continues with a visit to the Knesset, Israel’s government parliament building, where you can see the Menorah and biblical emblems. Explore the Israel Museum and visit the Shrine of the Book, which houses the Dead Sea Scrolls, as well as a miniature replica of Jerusalem as it was during the Second Temple period. Drive to Mount Herzl to visit the military cemetery and Yad Vashem, a world-renowned memorial to the Holocaust. Continue to Masada, an ancient fortress that served as the last stronghold of the Jews after the destruction of the Second Temple. Ascend by cable car to explore the impressive ruins of Masada, including the food storeroom, water irrigation system, bathhouses, and King Herod’s Palace. Day 10: Departure from Jerusalem
