Location and Directions
The Criterion is situated in the heart of Bricktown, Oklahoma City, at 500 East Sheridan Ave., on the corner of Sheridan Ave. and Charlie Christian Ave. If you’re coming from the south, take I-35 North and exit on the right-hand side on Sheridan. The Criterion will be on your left. For those traveling from the north, take I-35 South, exit on N. 6th St., continue straight onto N. Walnut Ave, then turn left onto Sheridan Ave. The Criterion will be on your right.
Parking Information
There is a parking lot directly west of the building, and it is a pay-to-park facility. However, if you’re looking for free parking, you can find it at Bass Pro Shop, which is just 2 blocks south of The Criterion.
Ticketing and Box Office
To purchase tickets, you can visit our ticketing platform eTix. Alternatively, you can buy tickets at The Criterion’s Box Office. The Box Office is open Monday through Friday from 12-5 PM, and at 2 PM on show days. We caution against purchasing tickets through third-party ticketing sites. Accessibility
The Criterion is an ADA accessible venue. If you require any special accommodations, please contact the box office in advance or speak to a member of The Criterion team upon arrival. We are here to assist you and ensure your visit is comfortable.
Box Office Hours
The Box Office is open Monday to Friday from 12-5 PM. Additionally, both the Box Office and Will Call open one hour prior to show time. Please remember to bring a valid ID and confirmation when picking up Will Call items.
Additional Facilities
For your convenience, there are ATM’s located inside The Criterion. However, please note that fees or finance charges may apply.
Age Restrictions and Bag Policy
Depending on the show, we have different age restrictions ranging from “All Ages” to “Certain Restrictions Apply.” Please refer to the relevant show information for details. As for bags, backpacks of any kind are not allowed. Small purses are permitted, but bags larger than 14 x 14 x 6 are not permitted. We conduct bag searches and use walk-through metal detectors at all entrances.
Camera and Food Policies
Please refrain from bringing any type of professional camera or any camera with interchangeable lens’. Additionally, iPads, Tablets, Go Pros, and Selfie Sticks are also not permitted. However, please note that these policies are subject to change based on each show. It’s recommended to check for any updates or changes before the event. Feel free to give us a call if you have any questions or need clarification. While we offer a full selection of popular beer, wine, and liquors for purchase, we generally do not have food service available unless it is announced in advance.

Nearby Dining Options and Hotels
Bricktown and the surrounding area offer a wide range of dining options. From casual dining to fast food, you’ll find something to suit your taste. If you’re willing to venture a little further, Midtown, which is about 10 minutes away, offers a variety of local options as well. As for accommodation, we recommend the AC Hotel Bricktown, Hyatt Place Bricktown, or Springhill Suites by Marriott. All three hotels are conveniently located within a block of The Criterion. Additionally, there are plenty of other hotel options directly east of the venue.
